Add an M3U playlist link
Use a playlist URL you are authorized to use, with an optional XMLTV guide.
Objective
Connect an online M3U playlist and, optionally, its guide.
Before you start
- A playlist URL you are authorized to use (for example the fictional https://playlist.example/list.m3u).
- Optionally, an XMLTV guide URL from the same provider.
Steps

Choose M3U Link
Click the M3U Link card on the Start screen.

Paste the playlist URL
Paste the address exactly as your provider gave it. Playlist links often contain a personal token, so treat the whole link like a password; SlothMate keeps it in the Keychain and redacts it from any message it shows.

Add a guide (optional)
If your provider offers an XMLTV file, paste its URL in Settings under the Guide card. The Guide screen and the Now/Next lines on Live TV fill in when channel identities match.

Connect
SlothMate downloads and parses the playlist before entering the session. If the link cannot be read you stay on the Start screen with an honest reason.
Expected result
Your playlist's channels appear in Live TV with the groups the playlist defines as categories. Favorites, categories, and Family Guard rules stay attached to each entry across refreshes that reorder, add, or remove channels, as long as the entry itself (its stream address) is unchanged.
